About

Hi, I’m Kevin Verbruggen.

I founded Bridges to Growth to bring big-brand growth thinking to ambitious brands, with a sharper commercial edge and none of the over-theory.

I’ve been on your side of the desk

I spent my career in senior brand roles, where strategy only counted if it drove the numbers. That’s still how I work. My team and I get to know your business quickly, find the evidence that matters, and turn it into a plan your team can act on.

I also teach, which keeps me close to the latest thinking on how brands grow. And it makes me good at making complex ideas simple.

What I believe

There are Laws of Growth. But they’re only useful when they’re turned into a clear, simple strategy and pragmatic action. Too many people who preach growth haven’t actually done it.

Evidence first

Decisions grounded in data and the Laws of Growth, not gut feel or fashion.

Keep it simple

If a strategy can’t be explained on a page, it won’t get used.

Commercially pragmatic

Eyes on consumers, shoppers, retailers and the bottom line.
